CURRICULUM
The curriculum at Brain Builder Academy aims to break the traditional mold of afterschool centers that cater towards test-taking by providing hands-on projects where students discover their own love for learning and are active participants in their education.
Brain Builder has carefully designed their own curriculum around 4 academic pillars. These 4 areas are where the founders identified the largest gaps with the least amount of innovation in Taiwanese schools and after-school programs. The project-based method of teaching encourages a deeper understanding of the content, improved collaboration and communication, increased student motivation, and most importantly- Real World Relevance.
Global Passport provides a foundation for students to become global citizens and engage with the cultures and traditions of the world. Our innovative social studies activities are hands-on, engaging, and designed to instill a deep appreciation for the wonders of the world. Children explore culture, history, geography, and advanced social concepts through exciting projects, fostering a spirit of inquiry and discovery.
CAREER FAIR
Career Fair at Brain Builder Academy highlights the jobs to power the world. Our students learn what it takes to become creators and problem solvers, introducing them to the foundational concepts, daily routines, and technical innovations that drive industry today so that they can build future of work for tomorrow. Students will learn from real professionals in various industries to gain a broad understanding of they type of work that exists in the marketplace, and some of the real challenges that these jobs aim to solve.
THINK LIKE AN ENGINEER
Think Like an Engineer offers a link between scientific principles and everyday life, designed by NASA engineers from the United States. Our engineering workshops introduce children to the principles of engineering and design thinking. Through hands-on challenges and collaborative projects, students develop their problem-solving abilities and gain a deeper understanding of the engineering process. In our engineering adventures, children learn to apply critical thinking and design principles to solve real-world challenges, fostering a strong foundation in engineering concepts.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
At Brain Builder Academy, we make English come alive through engaging activities that develop speaking, reading, and writing skills. Children build confidence and fluency through practical applications and real-life scenarios. The English language is woven into every one of our programs, where students will learn vocabulary that can be used in their correct context. For our Global Leader students, we will be emphasizing an English learning environment through vocabulary practice during our programs, daily story-time with curated English books, as well as intensive test-prep for the TOEFL Primary tests.
